In Chat, you can communicate via individual chats and Group Chats. Messages can be automatically translated and displayed in each user's set Language.
Things to decide before getting started
- Who can create new Chats…Permissions to create Chats are divided into "Chat admin," "individual Chat," and "Group Chat." Decide whether anyone can create Chats, or whether only designated responsible parties can.
- Whether to allow communication across organizations…If you Enable the organization restriction in the admin features, Members outside the specified organization will no longer appear on the New Chat creation screen.
Auto-translation
Messages written by others are translated and displayed in your set Language. This eliminates the need to switch back and forth between translation tools, so conversations keep flowing even in environments where Members speak different languages. You can also switch back to view the original text.
Organizing Chat Rooms
As the number of rooms grows, you can keep things organized by Pinning rooms to the top, hiding rooms you no longer use, and turning notifications on or off for each room.
