Build the organizational hierarchy based on actual departments and project units, and assign Members to each.
Why set this up first
The organizational hierarchy must be established before you begin using reports, as it determines the following two things.
- Template availability…Which Templates can be selected by which organization
- Report visibility…Who can view reports and to what extent
What to configure
- Organizations…Created in a hierarchical structure. You can also Import from an org chart image
- Members…Assign Members to each organization
- Positions and Employment types…Set as attributes for Members
Conditions where deletion is not possible
If an organization has subordinate organizations, it Cannot delete. Please move or delete the subordinate organizations first.
