When submitting a report, the following Messages may appear.
- A report for this date already exists. Please edit the existing report.
- A report with the same date and template already exists. Please edit the existing report.
- Only one report per template can be created per week. Please edit the existing report.
- Only one report per template can be created per month. Please edit the existing report.
- A report with this template already exists within this period. Please edit the existing report.
Cause
Only one report per Template is allowed within the same period. The unit of the period is determined by the cycle set in the Template.
- Daily Template: one report per day
- Weekly Template: one report per week
- Monthly Template: one report per month
- Custom Template: one report per configured period
Resolution
Please edit the report that has already been Submitted. You can open and edit the relevant report from the list.
If you need to keep multiple reports within the same period, please ask your Template administrator to enable the "Allow multiple submissions per day per person" setting for the Template.
With this setting enabled, the same person can submit any number of reports on the same day.
You can also use a different Template, or use a Template with the cycle set to "irregular".
Irregular Templates have no duplicate restrictions.
