Using on PC vs. Mobile
Teachme Communication is available not only in a web Browser but also as a mobile app for iOS and Android.
The app's screens and operations are the same as in the web Browser.
To install the app, search for "Teachme Communication" on the App Store or Google Play (iOS 18.0 or later, Android 7.0 or later).
However, because a narrow screen can make operation difficult, please use the following screens on a PC or a tablet in landscape orientation.
On a smartphone in portrait mode, the message "Please rotate your screen to landscape mode" will be displayed.
- Report Template Management (list and details)
- Viewing permission settings
- Compare reports
- Information Template Management
Since the smartphone app is fixed in portrait orientation, please use these screens on a PC or tablet.
Entering and viewing reports, as well as Chat, are also available on smartphones.
On smartphones, you can choose to take a photo with the camera when entering images in a report.
After logging in to the app, you will be prompted to allow notifications on your device.
If you allow them, push notifications will be delivered to the app.
IP Restrictions
If IP Restrictions are enabled, attempting to operate from a permitted IP address after moving to a non-permitted IP address will immediately trigger a Logout and return you to the login screen.
This behavior is the same as in Teachme Biz.
Note that users with administrator permissions are exempt from IP Restrictions.
Using the app from a non-permitted IP address (Access Approval Management)
The Teachme Communication app can be used from non-permitted IP addresses on devices that have been Approved in Teachme Biz's "Access Approval Management."
Web Browsers (including mobile browsers) are not eligible.
- When you Log in from the app, the app's Specific Code is registered in Access Approval Management as pending approval.
- A Group administrator or Sub-administrator in Teachme Biz Approves that Specific Code.
- Once Approved, the app on that device becomes available for use.
The Specific Code can be viewed and copied by tapping the gear icon in the upper right of the app's login screen and selecting "Show Specific Code."
Since a Specific Code is issued per app, even on a device where apps such as Teachme Biz or Teachme Player have already been Approved, the Teachme Communication app requires separate approval.
If you reinstall the app or change your device, the Specific Code will change, so approval will be required each time.
